I appreciate renting from Down Hom Properties because of the professionalism they present throughout the process. That was an unexpected pleasure as compared to renting directly from a Villager. As for the house, the location is marvelous, between the sixes (466 and 466A), very close to 466A, which has a lot of stores, restaurants, and conveniences, such as Starbucks. The best part about the location is that there are 8 golf courses within a couple of miles. It's so easy to get to a course from this location. Like every place else in The Villages, there are pools and rec centers nearby as well, both big (Sea Breeze) and small (Sterling Heights). While the yard is not large, there is shade, grass, and shrubs. Having shade for your pets when you go outside is important to me. An unexpected benefit was how quiet this location is. This house is located near no major roads. Buena Vista is probably a mile away, which isn't far, but you can't hear the traffic. It's nice having perfect quiet at night. The neighbors around this area are very nice as well.
When we were told there would be minimum supplies - stress minimum. The showers had the type soap you get at a hotel and could only use once. We bought soap, toilet paper, laundry soap, kitchen detergent, etc.
Furniture was nice. Kitchen was below average. TV in family is 20 inches too small. The internet connection was not great for streaming TV. Not a place we want to come back to, but just OK for the time we were there.
